About TabooDana

Our Belief

When we are growing up, there are a lot of things which we do and talk about in our innocence. At times because they sound funny, at times because someone said don’t do it, and at times because they make us feel grown up.

Gradually, we start forming perceptions about what is right and what is wrong, what is out of the ordinary and goes against the norm. This can be a practice, a culture, a person, or a thing.

We believe in providing a place where anyone can express, discuss, and vent about anything which is Taboo.

Vision and Mission

Our mission is to invest time, energy, and money in building a society that is excepting of the exceptions. We do that, by creating programs and holding listening circles, providing necessary resources.

Amidst the COVID-19, Taboodana holds space to reflect, discuss and learn from peer stories and journeys and be untwisted. There are professional performances every month under “Avow Tales and Talks”. We regularly have Instagram live in the evening. We are also open to publishing taboo stories and experiences on our blogs – T Tales and Khichdi
